A curious cat, I wanted to know everything about everything. Being the only child, I often craved for company and my marathon of questions never seemed to end. My dad worked in the Gulf, a common scenario for many baby boomers in India, and his visits home felt more like festive occasions. He would be around for just two weeks every nine months, and I longed for his presence during those long periods apart.
