Many of us have faced the challenge of overthinking, and I am no exception. During my childhood, I used to overthink a lot. My mind would get stuck in a loop, thinking about the same things repeatedly. This habit of overthinking has reduced a little now, but it still haunts me at times, mainly due to various reasons.

I know I am not alone in this struggle. Many people, just like me, suffer from overthinking. It’s a common problem that affects countless individuals. What’s frustrating is that while many of us know the solutions, it’s really very difficult to practice them and see results. Overthinking is like a heavy weight on our minds that prevents us from moving forward and enjoying life fully.

Recognizing the Patterns

The first step to overcoming overthinking is recognizing when it’s happening. Overthinking often begins with a single thought that spirals into a web of “what ifs” and worst-case scenarios. When you are aware of these patterns, we can begin to break free from them. When you notice your mind starting to spin out of control, acknowledge it.
