How to Master Time Management: A Journey from Struggle to Success
Time Management: Lessons from a Lifetime of Struggle
Time management has been my Achilles’ heel throughout my career. I’ve always been brimming with ideas and ambitions, but more often than not, I found myself lamenting the lack of hours in a day to bring them to fruition. It wasn’t until I dove into the biographies of great personalities that I had a realization - time management isn’t about having more time — it’s about making better choices with the time we have.
The Illusion of Scarcity
For years, I operated under the false belief that time was scarce. I’d look at my to-do list, growing longer by the day, and feel a sense of dread. “If only I had more time,” I’d think to myself, imagining all the amazing things I could accomplish if the day stretched beyond its 24 hours.
But here’s the truth I’ve come to realize: time is abundant. We all have the same 24 hours in a day. What sets high achievers apart isn’t their ability to bend the laws of physics — it’s their skill in utilizing every minute effectively.
